How would you like to swap out your old wardrobe for a new one – for free?! We welcome families, students and all others to join us for a clothes swap on on Saturday the 7th October under the K-Mart carpark alongside the Hamilton Night Market.
Bring a bag of clothes or more to share at 5 pm and receive tokens to get clothes in return. The gate will open at 5:30 pm for people to begin browsing the clothes, so while you’re waiting enjoy the other stalls at the Hamilton Night Market.
After 7 pm you will no longer need to bring a bag of clothes to receive entry tokens and tokens will be available for a koha for anyone who is around at the Night Markets.
An early-bird drop off point will be available on Friday from 11 am – 4:30 pm at Community Waikato for those who are able to drop clothes off early or would like to donate clothes but are not coming to the event. Alternatively, get in touch to organise the drop-off or pick up of clothes before the event at firstname.lastname@example.org or 022 4315899.
Kids, men’s and women’s clothing needed as well as shoes and accessories. *Clean clothing only*
We also need a bunch of volunteers for set-up and packdown, sorting clothes and manning entrances on the night – are you able to help? Let us know!
