Backyard Blitz Nov 2011
Because of an overwhelming response from people requiring assistance before our last event, we decided to have another work day to get it done!
During our Spring Streetworks planning, we received so many referrals asking for help in their gardens that we were just unable to get the work all done. Not wanting to leave a job unfinished, in true grassroots style we spread the word that we were going to head back out into the community with our sleeves rolled up.
Bring on the perfect number of volunteers, sunshine, dodgy lawnmowers and a delicious lunch. Thanks to the volunteers who worked so hard to achieve what we did, kia kaha!
