Prayer

Prayer is the most powerful tool we have at our disposal! We have realised over and over the power of prayer in changing peoples’ lives and changing our own lives. Prayer is a massive priority for the leadership of Streetworks. In any planning, organising, decision making or problem solving the best thing we can do is set it out before God before we launch into anything.

We’d love to see Streetworks carried by a network of prayer. Not everyone has the capacity to support Streetworks financially or to spend a day working; committing to support Streetworks in prayer is a hugely valuable contribution to what we do. There are always people, situations, issues or plans that need prayer – we’d love for you to join with us!

Before any big event we run, we hold prayer nights – interactive times where anyone can join us in setting the event before God. They always encapulate the heart of Streetworks, and are just as important as the big day. They’re open to everyone; the more the merrier!

We have opportunities for volunteers who attend Streetworks events and projects to donate. We appreciate donations – as do the staff! If you feel that Streetworks is an initiative that you would like to support financially then we’d love to hear from you.
